Our latest project, a backyard putting green!

We have spent the last few weeks, off and on while waiting for supplies and the time and energy to work on it, building a putting green in our backyard.

This was before we started moving things out of the way.

After removing most of the plant material.

Finished moving shrubs we wanted to keep and smothering the remaining grass with gravel and fabric and Round-up.

More gravel and compaction

Synthetic putting green turf (mowers are very expensive for natural bent grass putting greens).

Cut out "fringe" to border the putting surface.

Our putting green with sand trap has finally all come together.
