Scouring non-stick pans

We cook without oil so sometimes the vegetables that we brown leave a bit of residue even though we use nonstick cookware.    You may already know this but in case you don't....

A very handy way to scour non-stick pans without scratching the surface when food gets really stuck is to use a little spray oil and table salt, then wipe with a paper towel (you may have to push hard).

Pan that has been through the dishwasher or washed with soft scrub brush but it didn't get fully clean.
Spray pan with oil and then sprinkle with table salt.
Wipe out with paper towels, push hard in circular motion.
You may have to repeat the process for stubborn bits.

In the end you will have a pan that is better than new--it is all seasoned and ready to be used again in your next fabulous creation and look, no scratches.
